Hawzah News Agency- Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Zakzaky expounded on the exalted status of the Prophet’s Household (Ahl al-Bayt), lamenting that throughout history, extensive efforts have been made to diminish and conceal their virtues and lofty station.
He stressed that adherence to the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) is the pathway to dignity and victory for the Islamic Ummah, pointing to the Islamic Republic of Iran as a living testament. "Iran's steadfastness and success today is largely indebted to its unwavering commitment to the path and teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, despite the immense pressures and extensive efforts to confront it," the cleric stated.
Echoes of Early Islam
Sheikh Zakzaky drew a direct parallel between contemporary hostilities and the plots hatched against Islam during its infancy. He compared the current alliance against the Resistance Front to the historical collusion of Jews, Christians, and hypocrites who sought to extinguish Islam during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). "Today, we witness the same sort of coalitions forming against the axis of resistance, and particularly against the Islamic Republic of Iran," he warned.
Poetry as a Weapon of Mass Enlightenment
Highlighting the crucial role of art in the struggle, Sheikh Zakzaky described poetry as one of the most effective tools for raising awareness and guiding public thought. Recalling the role of poets during the era of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he urged contemporary poets and cultural activists to harness their art for enlightenment and to foil plots designed to trigger ethnic discord among Muslims.
"Ethnic diversity exists among Muslims, but the religion of Islam transcends ethnicity," Sheikh Zakzaky concluded. "It must remain the axis of unity and solidarity for the Islamic Ummah."
